Village Hotels Coventry is seeking a welcoming Reception Host to be the first and last impression for guests. You will guide arrivals through self-service check-in terminals while balancing digital efficiency with genuine warmth.

You’ll handle check-in, answer questions, upsell dining and facilities, and maintain a tidy lobby. If you have great energy, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a busy team, we want to hear from you. Full training and ongoing personal development are provided.

Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Delivering a genuinely warm and energetic greeting to every arrival. You will confidently direct guests to our self-service terminals, stepping in to provide hands‑on assistance the second they look confused or frustrated.
• The Problem Solving: Dealing with complaints politely and proactively on the spot. You will use your emotional intelligence to read the situation, resolving issues immediately or escalating them smoothly to your manager when necessary.
• The Environment: Acting as the constant, approachable face of the hotel lobby. You will keep the front of house pristine, clear away stray glassware, and always be ready to answer questions or upsell our food and beverage facilities.
