Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking an energetic Reception Host to be the face of the hotel on the floor, guiding guests to self-check-in and offering a warm, human welcome throughout their stay.

You will handle welcoming guests, solving small issues on the spot with empathy, upsell Food & Beverage and events, and maintain high front-of-house standards, including cash handling and staying aware of who’s in the building.

Qualifications

• Front of house host responsibilities including greeting guests and guiding through self-check-in where needed.
• Must be personable, energetic, and able to build genuine connections with guests.

Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Own the lobby and guide guests to self-check-in with a warm, friendly face.
• The Problem Solving: Diffuse issues on the spot with empathy and resolve before they involve a manager.
• The Commercial Hustle: Upsell Food & Beverage, meetings, and events to guests.
• The Operations: Maintain standards, manage cash handling securely, keep FOH areas tidy, and participate in briefings.
