Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a warm Reception Host to be the face of the hotel. With guests using self-check-in terminals, you will not be stuck behind a desk but roaming the lobby, greeting guests and guiding them to the right flow.

You will handle complaints with empathy, upsell food and beverage, manage cash and keep the front of house spotless. Previous hotel experience helps, but attitude and energy matter most as you help guests enjoy their stay and leave with a smile.

Qualifications

• Ability to welcome guests and guide to self-check-in terminals.
• Resolve guest issues calmly using emotional intelligence.
• Upsell Food & Beverage offerings to guests.

Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Own the lobby, guide guests to self-check-in terminals with a warm, helpful presence.
• The Problem Solving: Address complaints on the spot, diffuse tension, and resolve issues before management involvement.
• The Commercial Hustle: Promote hotel facilities, meetings, and events to guests.
• The Operations: Maintain front-of-house standards, handle cash securely, and attend briefings.
