Village Hotels is seeking an upbeat Reception Host to be the face of the property. With self-check-in, you’ll greet guests, guide them to tech, and offer a warm, human welcome and a brilliant farewell.

If you are approachable, energetic, and enjoy chatting with people, you’ll receive training and opportunities to grow. The role focuses on welcoming guests, resolving issues on the spot, upselling Food & Beverage, and maintaining high standards across front of house.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience is great, but your attitude and energy matter more to us.
• If you are approachable, possess a larger than life personality, and genuinely love chatting to people, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need.

Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Owning the lobby. You will act as the ultimate host, guiding guests to the self-check-in terminals and offering a warm, friendly face when help is needed.
• The Problem Solving: Turning complaints into wins, handling issues politely on the spot, using emotional intelligence to diffuse tension.
• The Commercial Hustle: Upsell our Food & Beverage facilities, meetings, and events, ensuring guests know what is happening during their stay.
• The Operations: Keeping front of house standards high, cash handling securely, and maintaining a spotless lobby.
