Job summary

The Village hotel is seeking a friendly Reception Host to be the face of the property, guiding guests to self-check-in and providing a warm, human welcome and a vibrant farewell. Previous hotel experience helps, but energy and personality matter more, with training and opportunities to grow.

You will own the lobby, handle guest needs on the floor, resolve issues on the spot, upsell F&B and events, and maintain high front-of-house standards with secure cash handling.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience is helpful but attitude and energy matter more.
• Excellent people skills and a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Comfort with guiding guests to self-check-in terminals.

Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Owning the lobby and guiding guests to self-check-in with warmth when needed.
• The Problem Solving: Diffuse tension and resolve issues on the spot to avoid escalation.
• The Commercial Hustle: Upsell Food & Beverage, meetings and events to guests.
• The Operations: Manage cash handling and keep front of house areas tidy and organized.
