Job summary

Mercure & ibis London Earls Court and Barnaby’s Restaurant & Bar is seeking a Reception Agent to welcome guests from arrival to departure, ensuring a memorable stay. You will handle check-in/out, respond to requests, and manage payments with a focus on excellent service.

The role requires fluency in English and offers opportunities to upsell hotel facilities, promote loyalty programs, and work within a dynamic, branded property in London.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience with Opera or similar systems is a plus.
• Hospitality reception experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, check in and check out, respond to requests, and settle accounts while delivering exceptional service.
• Take initiative to add a personalized experience for guests.
• Handle payments by credit card and cash.
• Communicate with guests by email and phone.
• Work morning or afternoon shifts as needed.
• Enroll guests in Accor Loyalty Membership.
• Promote hotel facilities and upsell available services.
