An opportunity to join a specialist real estate recoveries practice handling high-value, complex matters for major lenders, investors, and insolvency professionals. The team is part of a forward-thinking national firm operating under a modern, flexible model, combining deep market expertise with the freedom to work autonomously and deliver results efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting complex recoveries work: Advising on distressed asset recovery, enforcement of security, sales by receivers, and portfolio disposals.
• Working with experienced partners: Collaborating with senior lawyers who have built their careers exclusively in real estate recoveries, offering deep sector knowledge and hands-on mentoring.
• Managing varied caseloads: Handling a mix of commercial, residential, and development property recoveries, often involving high-value or multi-asset transactions.
• Client-focused problem solving: Providing clear, commercial advice to lenders, receivers, and insolvency practitioners, helping them navigate challenging recovery scenarios.
• Contributing to a growing national practice: Joining a close-knit team spanning Leeds and London, currently expanding due to a significant increase in instructions.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in real estate, recoveries, or insolvency.
• Experience advising lenders, receivers, or insolvency professionals on distressed property matters.
• Strong technical ability and confident communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with a practical, results-driven approach.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in building client relationships.
