Real Estate (Development) Solicitor | NQ-3 PQE | Leading UK Law Firm | Birmingham

BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a highly respected national law firm in its search for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its specialist Housing Development team in Birmingham. This is a full‑time, permanent role offering hybrid working, a supportive culture and the chance to develop your career within one of the UK's leading social housing practices.

The Role

As a Newly Qualified Solicitor in the Housing Development team, you will:

  • Join a collaborative, purpose‑driven group comprising Partners and Lawyers with deep sector expertise.
  • Work closely with a range of Registered Provider clients, including several of the UK's leading housing associations.
  • Advise on high‑quality, impactful work such as:
    • Acquiring s106 affordable housing from developers
    • Purchasing land for new build schemes
    • Assisting with site assembly, funding and delivery structures
  • Gain hands‑on experience across the full range of development transactions, supported by a team that values learning and growth.
  • Contribute to work that creates tangible social impact by enabling the delivery of affordable housing across the UK.

About You
