Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a Tenant Liaison Officer to join a reputable Social Housing Contractor on a roofing replacement scheme, initially in Stoke with a planned move to Manchester.

You will need at least 2 years’ experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, a full UK driving licence and, ideally, a CSCS card. Duties include visiting tenants, explaining works and timelines, collecting forms, chairing tenant forums, coordinating access, and resolving concerns.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Resident Liaison Officer for a social housing contractor
• Full UK driving licence and own transport
• CSCS card preferred

Responsibilities

• Pre entry visits and company inductions
• Visiting tenants in their homes and advising on works and timelines
• Act as main point of contact for tenant queries
• Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and building relations
• Visiting empty houses to discuss refurbishments with potential tenants
• Attend and chair tenant forum meetings to brief on works
• Monitor complaints and resolve issues

Are you a Tenant Liaison Officer looking for a new challenge? We have a position available with a Social Housing Contractor who focus on quality of service and customer care and have great staff retention rates.

My client are a well-established Social Housing Contractor, who have an excellent reputation and strong pipeline of work. They are currently recruiting for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join them on a temporary - permanent basis (approximately 6 months) on a roofing replacement scheme in Stoke. This will shortly be moving to a scheme in Manchester so successful candidates must be happy to work in both locations.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience as a Resident Liaison Officer working for a Social Housing Contractor.

Duties include:

• Pre entry visits and company inductions
• Collect tenancy agreement/approval forms
• Visiting tenants in their homes and to advise them on when and what work is being carried out
• Act as the main point of contact and deal with any problems/queries that tenant may have
• Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and establishing working relations with them
• Visiting empty houses that are being refurbished with potential tenants and advising them on completion dates
• Attending and chairing tenant forum meetings to advise tenants of works being carried out
• Monitor customer complaints and resolve any potential issues

You must also have a full driving licence along with your own transport and ideally hold a current CSCS Card.

The hourly rate is £17-18ph paid via an umbrella company.
