LEAD INFORMATION

Job Title: Reach Truck FLT Operator
Site location: Appleton Thorn, Warrington
Responsible to: Shift Manager
Purpose of the role: To support the warehouse, Stock Rotation, Replenishment of customer goods with the safe operation of Reach FLT and use of hand scanners.

Client brief: Our client is a world-renowned Warehousing organisation supporting blue chip companies with warehousing and distribution functions.

KEY INFORMATION

• Reason for vacancy: Increased Demand
• Hourly Rate: £12.50ph
• Shifts: Monday to Friday 6am-4pm
• Overtime: Regular optional overtime available also, 1.5x basic rate Saturday, 2.0x basic rate Sunday
• Holidays: Accrual
• Facilities: Long standing operation very well kept offering excellent facilities including free on-site parking, canteen areas (inclusive of all kitchen facilities and vending machines)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role: Our client is looking for Reach FLT Operator to support their existing team in their Ambient (room temperature) Warehousing Operation in Appleton Thorn, Warrington.

As a Reach Operator, the requirements are varied but not limited to:

• Accurately and safely operating a Reach Truck within site health and safety requirements at all times.
• Rotating stock, storing and collecting products from pallets with use of Reach FLT & handheld scanners.
• Working within a team to complete daily warehouse targets.
• Delivering a high standard of productivity at all times to ensure smooth operation within the warehouse.
• Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail.
• All other generalist warehousing duties.
