Reach Truck Driver

Location: Leicester, LE3 area

Pay: £13.87 per hour.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week) Breaks: 2 x 15 minutes & 1 x 30 minutes (unpaid)

DC Personnel are recruiting for an experienced and accredited Reach truck driver for a long-established national distribution business based in the LE3 area of Leicester.

The employer operates within the commercial and industrial supply sector. They distribute mechanical and technical products including pipework, valves and fittings. The company is known for job stability, strong stock levels and long-term staff retention.

This role is primarily focused on forklift operation and is available for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck to move materials around the warehouse/factory
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock checks
• Ensure goods are stored in the correct locations
• Report any equipment faults, accidents, or hazards to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety standards

Requirements of the Role

• Valid reach truck licence / certification
• Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and long periods on the truck
