Qualifications

  • Substantial acute care experience in A&E, UCC, ITU, AMU, MAU, CCU or A&E.
  • Evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Awareness of NHS policies regarding primary care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical assessments and take a thorough clinical history.
  • Prioritize patients based on clinical need and coordinate care across teams.
  • Act as Clinical Supervisor for Health-Care Assistants and/or Band 5 nurses/paramedics.

Skills

Strong communication skills
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
Proficient in SystmOne and Microsoft Word
Ability to maintain clinical records

Education

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or Paramedic with HCPC registration
Bachelor’s degree (or working towards)
Advanced Clinical Assessment Course (or willingness to undertake)
