Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager for the HS2 Track infrastructure programme. The role leads spatial coordination, design management and system safety coordination across multidisciplinary teams, with responsibility for interfaces between track systems, design partners and alliance members.

• Extensive experience in rail systems design, integration and coordination.
• Leadership in design and build or alliance delivery environments.
• Experience with large-scale rail infrastructure programmes.
• Strong understanding of design management processes and safety assurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces between track systems, contractors, design partners and alliance members.
• Lead spatial coordination of rail systems designs and manage design clashes.
• Chair design coordination meetings and monitor progress against milestones.
• Coordinate technical assurance and health and safety in design activities.
