Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager for the HS2 Track infrastructure project. Based in London or Birmingham, you will coordinate interfaces across design partners and main works contractors, lead spatial coordination and chair coordination meetings to ensure on-time delivery.

You will drive technical assurance, health and safety in design, and engage stakeholders to resolve design interfaces and programme risks.

Qualifications

• Extensive rail systems design and integration experience.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary coordination on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across design partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces between track systems, contractors, design partners and alliance members.
• Lead spatial coordination of rail systems designs and manage design clashes and interfaces.
• Chair design coordination meetings and oversee progress reporting.
• Ensure governance, design assurance and safety requirements are integrated throughout the lifecycle.
