Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager for the HS2 Track infrastructure project. The role focuses on delivering integrated rail systems design, coordinating interfaces between track systems, alliance members and main works contractors, and guiding design governance to meet client requirements.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, chair coordination meetings, and ensure design progress aligns with standards, milestones and health & safety practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in rail systems design and integration.
• Experience in design and build/alliance delivery environments.
• Experience managing external design organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems integration and design management across rail systems.
• Coordinate interfaces between track systems, main works contractors and partners.
• Chair design coordination meetings and reviews with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and ensure delivery aligns with client requirements and milestones.
• Promote Health and Safety in Design across disciplines.
