Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager for HS2 Track infrastructure. You will coordinate interfaces across track systems, manage design partners, and lead spatial coordination with a design-and-build alliance.

Role requires extensive rail systems experience, strong leadership, and robust governance and safety assurance knowledge. Competitive package and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in rail systems design, integration, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience in contractor-led, design-and-build or alliance delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of design management processes within large rail/infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical interfaces between Track systems and alliance members.
• Lead spatial coordination of rail systems designs from partners and third parties.
• Chair design coordination meetings and review sessions with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and ensure delivery aligns with standards and milestones.
• Coordinate and promote Health and Safety in Design across disciplines.
