Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager for the HS2 Track infrastructure project. You will lead systems integration and design management, coordinate interfaces between Track systems, Main Works Contractors, design partners and Alliance members, and support the integration of multidisciplinary deliverables across the Rail Systems programme.

You will also facilitate resolution of engineering, programme and design interface issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in rail systems design, integration and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience in contractor-led/design-and-build/alliance delivery environments is preferred.
• Experience managing design interfaces and spatial coordination in large-scale rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical interfaces between Track systems, Main Works Contractors, Design Partners and Alliance members.
• Lead and manage the spatial coordination of rail systems designs produced by design partners and alliance members.
• Coordinate and promote Health and Safety in Design principles across rail systems disciplines.
• Chair and facilitate design coordination meetings, workshops and reviews with stakeholders.
