Job summary
BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager to join the HS2 Track infrastructure programme. You will coordinate interfaces between track systems, design partners and alliance members, and lead spatial coordination across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery against milestones.
You will manage design coordination meetings, drive technical assurance, and promote Health & Safety in Design across disciplines, while collaborating with stakeholders to resolve design interfaces
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in rail systems design, integration and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience in contractor-led, design and build or alliance delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of design management processes within major rail or infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical interfaces between Track systems and alliance members.
- Lead spatial coordination of rail systems designs across partners and third parties.
- Chair design coordination meetings and monitor progress against client requirements.
- Coordinate technical assurance activities and ensure safety requirements are met.
