Job summary

BAM is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager for the HS2 Track infrastructure project, joining the Rail Systems Alliance. Based in London or Birmingham, you will lead systems integration, design management and spatial coordination across partners and main works contractors to meet cost and schedule targets.

You will chair design coordination meetings, drive design assurance, and promote Health and Safety in Design.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in rail systems design, integration and coordination.
• Experience in contractor-led or alliance delivery environments.
• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; chartered status preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces between Track systems and alliance members.
• Lead spatial coordination and manage design progress across partners.
• Coordinate health and safety in design (CDM) and design assurance.
• Chair design coordination meetings and drive governance.
