Job summary

BAM is seeking a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager for the HS2 Track Infrastructure project. You will drive systems integration, design management and spatial coordination across multiple partners to ensure interfaces are resolved and delivery stays on track.

You will lead governance, safety assurance, and CDM processes, coordinating design reviews and stakeholder engagement with a focus on timely, compliant delivery across the alliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive rail systems design and integration experience.
• Experience in contractor-led or alliance delivery environments.
• Experience with large-scale rail infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces between track systems and alliance members.
• Lead spatial coordination of rail systems designs.
• Manage design clashes and interface issues.
• Coordinate technical assurance and governance activities.
• Promote Health and Safety in Design principles.
• Lead design coordination meetings and workshops.
• Monitor progress and report against client requirements and milestones.
