Job summary

A leading rail construction company in the UK is looking for an experienced HSQE Advisor. The role involves liaising on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental issues, managing safety audits across projects, and supporting health and safety initiatives. Candidates should have relevant rail project experience and NEBOSH qualification as well as knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground standards. Travel throughout the UK is required. Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience working in a health and safety role within a railway environment.
• Sentinel – Personal Track Safety (PTS)/AC/DCCR is desirable.
• Qualified or working towards Environmental Awareness Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and report Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
• Manage the QSE library.
• Conduct planned safety audits of work sites.

Skills

Experience in rail construction projects

Good working knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground Standards and procedures

Education

NEBOSH Construction Certificate level/NVQ level 3 Occupational Health and Safety in Practice

IOSH – Technician Status or IIRSM – Associate Status
