This multi‑billion‑pound scheme will become one of the country's most strategically connected rail hubs, integrating high‑speed services, national rail links, and extensive passenger facilities.

The project includes the construction of multiple underground and overground platforms, creating a key interchange for routes across London, the Midlands, Scotland, the North, and major UK airports. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a landmark station build that will transform national rail connectivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination and management of the document review process, working closely with NR/ASPRO, LU, and internal project teams.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary functions, contributing to inter‑disciplinary checks (IDCs) and design reviews (IDRs).
  • Assist the Lead Interface Manager and Track & Civils CRE with reviewing WPPs, technical documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance to project teams on the preparation of WPPs, task briefs, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain and update the document deliverables tracker, producing weekly submission summaries in collaboration with document control.
  • Work with the DWWP Manager to support readiness reviews for possessions and ensure alignment with T‑Minus procedures.
  • Develop a forward‑looking communication plan with document control to ensure timely document submissions.
  • Offer on‑site support to construction managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with NR and LU standards and to resolve engineering issues efficiently.
  • Encourage collaborative decision‑making across integrated project teams.
  • Conduct regular audits and checks on existing documentation.
  • Attend site as required, including occasional night or weekend shifts, to support delivery activities.
Candidate Profile
  • Strong working knowledge of Network Rail standards and an understanding of London Underground requirements.
  • Familiarity with AC and DC railway electrical systems.
  • Valid PTS, medical, and CSCS certification.
  • Understanding of NR possession planning roles and responsibilities.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
  • Knowledge of AMP processes.
  • Experience in railway construction planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Understanding of railway planning systems and operational environments.
