A regional healthcare provider in Tees Valley is seeking a part-time Receptionist/Admin Assistant for its Radiology department. The role involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, IT knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualification is required, and experience in a similar role is desirable. Competitive salary of £24,465 per year pro rata offered.

Radiology is a busy department providing X‑Ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services. We provide diagnostic services to our hospital sites using both specific Radiology IT packages alongside Trustwide systems to provide integrated care.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our friendly team based within Radiology at UHND.
The successful candidate should provide consistent outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients and visitors, arrange appointments and liaise with all involved in the Imaging process to ensure the best service for our patients.
The successful candidate will need excellent communication, organisational and investigative skills and have a flexible approach to tasks with experience working in a busy office environment.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites – Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester‑le‑Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
