Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor to support our UK sensor systems training portfolio. The role involves planning and delivering operator and maintainer courses on radar and related electronic systems, at our Fareham site with opportunities to work at customer locations globally.

You will develop and maintain training materials, contribute to technical publications, and provide SME input while travelling up to 3 weeks per event.

Qualifications

• Radar/communications/electronic systems experience.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing environment.
• Willing to travel UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per training event).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Security clearance to SC level or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback.
• Provide feedback into sensor publications and demonstrations.
