Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK seeks a UK-based Radar Instructor to support the Sensor Systems UK Integrated Logistic Support Training team. You will develop, deliver and assure operator and maintenance training for sensor systems at Fareham and other locations, while contributing to educational material and publications.

The role requires experience with radar or electronic systems, teaching skills, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience required.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per event).
• UK driving licence essential.
• National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or ability to gain it.
• Qualified to ONC/HNC level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Collect and act on student feedback, internal and external.
• Provide SME input on system and software development.
• Contribute to sensor publications and demonstrations.
