Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer training on sensor systems across sites in Fareham and globally. You will administer training events, operate fault-finding on sensor systems, and analyse student feedback, while contributing to technical publications and demonstrations.

The role requires teaching experience, a strong engineering background in radar or related electronic systems, and willingness to travel up to 3 weeks

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or complex electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience is required.
• Experience in technical customer-facing environments with problem-solving and leadership.
• Must be computer literate and willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Collect, compile, analyse and respond to student feedback.
• Provide SME input on system and software development and contribute to publications.
• Support demonstrations, trials and market growth activities.
