Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor based in the Fareham area to join the Sensor Systems UK Integrated Logistic Support Training team. The role covers development, delivery and assurance of operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems, working with customers worldwide and Saab colleagues in Sweden.

You will plan and deliver training, administer events, and provide SME input into technical publications while travelling within the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous military experience or exposure.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to travel within UK and globally; events up to 3 weeks per training event.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver both operator and maintainer courses on a variety of sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback.
• Offer subject matter expert advice on system and software development.
• Provide feedback and input into sensor technical publications.
• Provide support to demonstrations, trials, exercises and other company market growth activities.
