Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to join the Sensor Systems UK Integrated Logistic Support Training team. The role covers delivery of operator and maintainer courses on radar and sensor systems, in Fareham and at customer sites globally, with opportunity to develop within Saab.

You will plan and deliver training, administer events, fault-find on systems, gather feedback, contribute to publications, and support demonstrations and trials.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Willing to travel within UK and globally; up to 3 weeks per training event.
• Full UK driving licence.
• National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or ability to obtain.
• Qualified to ONC/HNC level or equivalent technical experience.
• Previous military experience or exposure.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback.
• Provide feedback and input into sensor technical publications.
• Support demonstrations, trials and other market growth activities.
