Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is recruiting a UK-based Radar Instructor to support our sensor systems training portfolio. You will plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on a range of sensor systems at Fareham, UK and at customer locations worldwide, including occasional travel.

You will develop and maintain educational material, assist in compiling technical publications, and provide SME guidance to customers and colleagues while upholding Saab’s values and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar/electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience required.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing environment is essential.
• Willingness to travel UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per event).
• Full UK driving licence held.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report on training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems.
• Solicit and analyse student feedback; implement improvements.
• Provide SME advice on system and software development and publications.
• Support demonstrations, trials and market growth activities.
