Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK seeks a UK-based Radar Instructor to support operator and maintainer training across our sensor systems portfolio. The role includes developing educational materials and contributing to technical publications, with training delivered at UK sites and customer locations globally.

The successful candidate will have radar/electronic systems experience, teaching background, and the ability to work with customers in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience in a technical environment.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per event).
• Must have or be able to obtain SC level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events and outcomes.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems for training.
• Contribute to feedback analysis and sensor publications.
• Support demonstrations, trials, and other market growth activities.
