Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to support our sensor systems training portfolio. You will plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses at Fareham, with travel for customer engagements as needed, while developing and maintaining training materials and publications.

The role requires radar or electronic systems experience, teaching ability, and willingness to undergo UK security vetting to SC level.

Qualifications

• Motivated, critical thinker with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience is required.
• Willing to travel UK and globally; UK driving licence is required.
• Must hold or be able to obtain National Security Vetting clearance to SC level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses for sensor systems.
• Administer and report on training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to support training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and act on student feedback.
• Provide SME input on system and software development and publications.
