Job summary

Voyse Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive new business and expand market share for Jungheinrich material handling equipment across Norfolk & Cambridge postcodes. The role includes prospecting new clients, managing a diary, delivering on targets and providing exceptional customer service while representing the Jungheinrich range in a field-based role across the NR, IP and CB areas.

Qualifications

• New Business Sales experience required.
• Exposure to material handling equipment or capital equipment sales.
• Career-minded with drive to succeed.
• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work towards set targets.

Responsibilities

• Sales of material handling equipment into given sectors.
• Use customer databases to plan activity, diary management, and reports.
• Grow prospect database and create a pipeline of future prospects.
• Own customer requirements and ensure needs are met.
• Resolve customer issues through to resolution.
• Prospect new business via phone and field activity.
• Maintain Jungheinrich database to support pipeline.
• Complete all training as required.

Role Purpose:

To increase Jungheinrich market share and market awareness within given sectors/postcodes, through sales of a full range of Jungheinrich Material Handling Equipment and services. This includes expanding Jungheinrich market penetration into new industries and applications.

Role Responsibilities:

• Sales of Material Handling Equipment into given sectors of the market.
• Using customer/prospect database to plan activity and then report. This includes management of own diary and completing all relevant reports in line with Jungheinrich requirements.
• Growth of Prospect Database.
• Ownership of customer requirements and management of needs.
• Deal with any customer issues through to resolution.
• Prospect new business through phone and field activity.
• Use and update Jungheinrich database to create a pipeline of future prospects.
• Complete all training as required by Jungheinrich.
