GSK Apprenticeships are a brilliant alternative to college courses or university. As one of the world’s leading biopharma companies, we offer an onthe‑job learning experience that really stands out.

You'll earn a salary for performing a real role – with your practical experience backed by classroom sessions.

As the Supply Chain and Logistics Apprentice you will gain essential skills and knowledge required to plan, manufacture, and deliver medicine to clinical trial patients, all whilst actively studying towards your BSc (Hons) Supply Chain Management qualification with Aston University. For more information see:

No prior experience is required as you will be given full training.

Here are some of the motivations of our current apprentices. Does this sound like you?

‘No two days are the same, and every day provides new challenges to overcome and learn from which plays a vital role in supporting the Clinical Supply Chain’s objectives; I like that I can put my theoretical learning into practice within a distribution centre. I enjoy the varied role from supporting the warehouse leadership team by capturing and optimising the data, reporting back on trends or patterns, picking and putting away goods in the warehouse and capturing inventory and capacity management data which is relayed to the senior leadership team to identify challenges and solutions. Safety is a huge priority and I’m involved in planning and ensuring safety actions are being completed. The warehouse is a high‑paced environment, and I like that there’s always opportunities to take on further projects depending on your area of interest.’
