A leading engineering firm is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the Quantity Surveying team for a major expansion project at Aberdeen harbour. Previous civil engineering or marine background is ideal, particularly with NEC contracts. Responsibilities include negotiating subcontract packages, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates local to Aberdeen or willing to relocate are preferred. This role offers a chance to work on significant infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment.

As a result of a significant award in the Aberdeen area they are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor ideally from a main contractor civil engineering/marine background for the multi-million pound Aberdeen harbour Expansion Project.
Previous experience of the following would be beneficial but not essential- dredging, marine piling, construction of any of the following; cofferdam, caisson, Sea Terminal Berths, jetty’s, Lock Gates, harbours / ports, Quay/sea walls, breakwaters, RC concrete.
