A housing association organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to lead their contracts team. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient delivery of improvement and maintenance contracts while maintaining oversight of safety and cost parameters. Responsibilities include guiding a collaborative team and negotiating contract costs. Candidates should possess a formal qualification in Quantity Surveying, strong procurement experience, and a successful track record in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Salary: £49,370 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week

You will lead contracts team to ensure the efficient delivery and commercial oversight of improvement and maintenance contracts. This includes responsibility for day-to-day contract performance, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and within agreed cost parameters. You will be part of the contract’s division, providing clear guidance and leadership to estimator/supervisors and administrators, fostering a collaborative, solutions-focused culture that promotes quality and continuous improvement. As a qualified Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the organisation’s cost modelling and tender activity, negotiate contract costs, and support procurement processes and contract framework development.
