A leading civil engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for their Windermere project. The role involves managing commercial matters, ensuring effective cost management, leading procurement processes, and mentoring site team members. Ideal candidates will have experience as an Assistant QS/QS, and a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred. Quantity Surveyors, we are hiring for our Windermere project as part of the AMP8 framework. If you are interested and have the relevant experience and skills get in touch! Reporting to the Senior QS on site, the project QS shall be responsible for delivery all commercial matters within his designated section of the project. This will require working as part of the wider project team, reporting to the Senior QS on the project to assist with monthly reporting and project delivery. Depending on the value of the project, the QS may be responsible for the scheme in it's entirety reporting to the Senior / Managing QS.
Reporting to the Senior QS on site, the project QS shall be responsible for delivery all commercial matters within his designated section of the project.
Adequate experience as an Assistant QS/QS.
Desirable: a degree in QS and relevant experience.
Accredited course by RICS, CIOB or ICES, or a degree with numerical or technical; HND subjects include building/construction, urban and land studies, civil engineering and structural engineering.
