38,000 - £45,000+ per annum | Permanent | West Midlands

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking to work on road infrastructure projects? Ceto Talent is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure for a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, offering the opportunity to manage the financial aspects of road construction and maintenance projects whilst delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

What We're Looking For

The ideal Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure will bring :

  • Degree or industry equivalent in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience in the construction industry and Quantity Surveying
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3 / 4 Contracts (Essential)
  • Understanding of site health & safety and construction industry practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to influence colleagues, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Clear communication skills and strong teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of civil engineering / manufacturing (Desirable)
  • Appropriate accreditation (Desirable)
About the Role

This Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure position offers the chance to play a key role in managing the financial aspects of road infrastructure projects, ensuring costs are controlled, budgets are adhered to, and value for money is achieved. You'll work with a dynamic team committed to excellence and innovation.

As Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure, you'll perform initial contract document reviews, compile valuations, manage compensation events and variations, resolve account differences, and monitor costs whilst supporting contract managers throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

In this Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure role, you will :

  • Perform initial contract document reviews and review tender documentation
  • Compile valuations and perform Compensation Events / Variations submissions
  • Resolve account differences and monitor costs
  • Raise and value NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
  • Manage subcontract appointments and validate invoices
  • Attend meetings, highlight risks and follow up on payments
  • Support Contract Managers and track design and construction changes
  • Support commercial processes and input data
  • Perform KPI reporting and develop professional skills
  • Communicate confidently and make informed decisions
What's On Offer

Salary : £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (may go higher for the right person)

Contract : Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
