Responsibilities

  • Identify items in stock locations by part number and description.
  • Read technical drawings to verify that parts provided match the drawings.
  • Inspect supplied parts for cosmetic defects.
  • Notify suppliers of faults reported.
  • Carry out material transactions using SAP.
  • Record rework jobs internally for tracking and improvement activities.
  • Control of defective material stock locations.
  • Work may be required in KLA clean room environment.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

This role will be based in Celtic Lakes. Our new 237,000‑square‑foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces, including 25,000 square feet of R&D clean rooms, 35,000 square feet of state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing space and tool demo areas, all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging, power devices, MEMS, RF and photonics sector technology.

Purpose of the role

The role will be focused on the processing of defective material returned from our customer sites. Cross functional working will be required between manufacturing, supply chain, field service and install teams.
