About the programme
Within our Global Supply Chain (GSC) business, we manufacture and supply reliable, high-quality medicines and vaccines to meet patients’ needs. The programme offers two years of rotations to develop technical, quality, and operational skills within GSK’s manufacturing and quality environments.
The two-year rotational programme is designed to prepare you for future quality, operational, and technical roles within GSK’s Global Supply Chain.
What you’ll do
- Cross-Functional Exposure: Spend time at your home site, working on cross-functional projects and rotations to deepen your expertise and knowledge of the business.
- Kaizen Assignment: Short-term breadth assignment, potentially including global-focused opportunities, to expand skills beyond your home site.
- Tailored Training: Role-specific training with a generous training budget and access to resources.
- Professional & Personal Growth: Develop technical expertise through hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
- Regulatory Insight: Build knowledge of industry regulations and compliance in a highly regulated environment.
- Hands-On Lab Experience: Work in quality testing laboratories and gain experience with analytical techniques, raw materials, finished products, sterility, and environmental testing.
- Quality Systems & Analytics: Understand quality systems and apply GSK quality standards in deviations, CAPA, change control, and documentation.
- Risk and Compliance: Develop understanding of risk management and compliance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across manufacturing, quality, technical services, and supply chain to introduce new products and testing methods.
- Sustainability focus: Work on projects focused on sustainability, waste reduction, and green lab initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to performance improvement projects using DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma techniques.
