JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision-engineering company in Welwyn Garden City to recruit a skilled Quality Inspector to join their expanding team on a permanent days shift. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturer producing specialist components with consistent growth and long-term stability.

The Successful Quality Inspector - Package
  • £17.00 - £22.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Days Shift
  • Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Friday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
  • Free on-site parking

The Successful Quality Inspector - Requirements
  • Experienced Quality Inspector from a precision engineering, plastics, aerospace, or manufacturing background
  • Hands-on dimensional inspection experience using Verniers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Shadowgraph/Optical inspection or CMM (desirable)
  • Confident inspecting small to medium-sized precision components to tight tolerances
  • Able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of quality documentation including FAIR, ISIR, First-Off and Final Inspection Reports
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
  • Confident communicating with Production and Quality Engineers to resolve quality issues
  • Good IT skills for recording inspection data and maintaining accurate quality records
