Responsibilities

  • Carry out in-process and final inspections of products, components, and assemblies.
  • Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Identify and document non-conformances, escalating issues where required.
  • Support root-cause analysis and contribute to corrective actions.

Job Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Mansfield

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07.15am until 16.00pm; Friday 07.15am until 15.00pm

Role Purpose

We're looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Inspector to ensure that all products, processes, and workmanship meet internal standards and customer expectations. This role plays a key part in inspection, documentation, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out in‑process and final inspections of products, components, and assemblies
  • Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards
  • Identify and document non‑conformances, escalating issues where required
  • Support root‑cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventive actions
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
  • Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure correct use and calibration of measuring and inspection equipment
  • Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement activities
  • Promote a strong quality and safety culture across the site
Skills & Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Good understanding of welding processes
  • PCN or CSWIP welding inspection knowledge or qualification
