QUALITY INSPECTOR

Up to £33,000 Plus Excellent Benefits

The Company

My client is a leading bespoke product manufacturer known for its quality, innovation and excellent working culture. They are also party of a global business that supplies into multiple sectors both in the UK and internationally.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they have created a new role and an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to ensure the manufactured product conform to the required safety and quality standards.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager the Quality Inspector will operate across all stages of production and drive product assurance in ensuring that there is transparency for both inspection and traceability as well as being compliant to ISO 9001.

This will also include:
  • Process management from goods-in to final inspection and release
  • Identification of defects
  • Documentation of all non-conformances
  • Responsibility for traceability
  • Supporting Quality audits
  • Working closely with other functions
  • Waste reduction
  • Strengthening customer confidence
  • Monitoring and reporting KPI's
  • Ensuring the integrity of all measurement & inspection tools
  • Adherence and compliance to Health & Safety standards
The Candidate

The ideal Quality Inspector will have a proven track record with at least 3 years of quality inspection experience gained within a manufacturing environment.

You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings as well as being proficient with measurement tools such as Verniers, Gauges or Callipers.

Also required:
  • Communication at all levels
  • Understanding geometric tolerancing
  • Defect classification
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use Microsoft tools
