Responsibilities
  • Providing independent assessment of lifecycle design review inputs, entry and exit criteria
  • Acting as the independent authority during validation and verification activities
  • Owning and closing all product‑related issues internally and externally, including customer concerns
  • Revising and updating processes to reduce risk of non‑conformance issues
  • Completing quality audits and surveillance activities
  • Ensuring effective close‑out of internal and external audit findings
  • Performing proactive operational surveillance to promote best practice and minimise quality escapes
  • Maintaining all product records to ensure configuration integrity throughout the lifecycle
  • Articulating issues, providing constructive feedback, and advocating for quality standards
  • Producing and maintaining contracted quality deliverables
  • Acting as a conduit between Engineering and Production to ensure assurance on delivered products
  • Generating and updating Quality Management Plans
Experience
  • Previous experience in a quality‑focused role within a technical environment
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and problem‑solving techniques
  • Auditor‑level knowledge of quality management systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority
