Responsibilities
- Providing independent assessment of lifecycle design review inputs, entry and exit criteria
- Acting as the independent authority during validation and verification activities
- Owning and closing all product‑related issues internally and externally, including customer concerns
- Revising and updating processes to reduce risk of non‑conformance issues
- Completing quality audits and surveillance activities
- Ensuring effective close‑out of internal and external audit findings
- Performing proactive operational surveillance to promote best practice and minimise quality escapes
- Maintaining all product records to ensure configuration integrity throughout the lifecycle
- Articulating issues, providing constructive feedback, and advocating for quality standards
- Producing and maintaining contracted quality deliverables
- Acting as a conduit between Engineering and Production to ensure assurance on delivered products
- Generating and updating Quality Management Plans
Experience
- Previous experience in a quality‑focused role within a technical environment
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and problem‑solving techniques
- Auditor‑level knowledge of quality management systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority
