Job description
QA/QC Inspector – Onshore Wind | Nigg Site

We’re looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector to support onshore quality inspections in line with project requirements, Site Quality Plans, procedures, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality throughout goods receipt, assembly, and final inspections prior to load‑out, while working closely with customer inspectors and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer QA/QC representatives during receival and load‑out inspections
  • Plan and coordinate inspection readiness with site teams
  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and quality records
  • Conduct inspections in line with Site ITPs and quality standards
  • Record, report, and resolve non‑conformities
  • Support EHS initiatives to maintain a safe work environment
  • Manage site documentation in collaboration with Document Control
  • Support mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams with completions and punch lists
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned with the Global Supply Chain
Requirements
  • GWO certification and technical/engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical)
  • Experience as an onshore/offshore wind QA/QC Inspector
  • Strong knowledge of site safety and quality standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001)
  • Understanding of fabrication, assembly, NDT, coatings, and HV electrical systems
  • Proactive, organised, and self‑motivated approach
