Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance candidate to join their team. This role offers an immediate start with competitive pay at £12.50 per hour, and potential for a permanent contract. Key responsibilities include quality checks on products, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting production teams. Qualifications

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a candidate to join their quality assurance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team with great future career prospects.

The hours of work are 07:00 - 15:30.

Pay for this role is £12.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
  • Ensure all products meet customer and legal specifications
  • Monitor hygiene, CCPs, trace-ability, temperature records, and GMP standards
  • Investigate and report any non-conformance
  • Support production teams with quality and food safety guidance
  • Ensure compliance with BRCGS and retailer standards
Key Requirements / skills:
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing (ideally in a QA/QC role)
  • Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and quality procedures
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work different shifts if required
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g. Excel, Word, email)

This is an immediate start position with opportunities for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
