Job Opportunity: Qualified Teaching Assistants - Secondary Schools

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in secondary education? We are currently recruiting qualified TAs to support students across a range of secondary schools in Chorley.

Position: Teaching Assistant (Secondary School)

Location: Various schools across Chorley

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Support students with varying needs, including SEN
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Help with classroom management and preparation of resources
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
