About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen t for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Microbiologist to help us maintain the highest standards of product quality and safety. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact the consistency and excellence of our products.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Delivering on-site Quality KPIs and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Conducting chemical, microbiological, sensory, and packaging analysis.
  • Monitoring production processes to prevent contamination.
  • Managing sample collection, processing, and validation testing.
  • Recording and analyzing data with precision.
  • Drafting and reviewing SOPs, lab investigations, and validation protocols.
  • Troubleshooting microbiological issues and supporting technical queries.
  • Calibrating and verifying lab instruments.
  • Designing and delivering quality training sessions.
  • Creating and sharing performance reports.
  • Supporting BRC, FEMAS, AOECS and other relevant customers and 3rd parties standards
  • Performing hygiene audits relevant for the role and implementing corrective actions
  • Administering IT systems linked to the Quality Management System.
  • Driving continuous improvement and best practices.
About you
  • HNC or equivalent degree in a science-related field (e.g. Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science)
  • Understanding/experience in a brewery or food manufacturing laboratory
  • Experience of scientific analysis and interpretation of results
  • Understanding of HACCP and quality systems.
  • Clear communication and strong planning abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience of liaising with internal/external customers across a multifunction site
  • IT Literate
