Job Title: PR Account Director
Salary: £50-59 K (dependent on experience)
Location: Central London
Basic Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri 9 am‑6 pm)
Responsibilities
- Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients.
- Research and draft pitches for features, interviews, op‑eds and press releases.
- Draft agendas and actions for client calls, and take internal meeting notes.
- Research client events and industry conferences.
- Research and build media lists on an ongoing basis.
- Pitch press releases, op‑eds and feature stories.
- Arrange and manage media interviews for clients.
- Assist in developing creative ideas for PR campaigns, crafting and executing media strategies.
- Monitor and flag relevant news stories to the team.
Requirements
- Candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
- At least 1–2 years of experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism.
- Knowledge of fintech, blockchain or cryptocurrency space, or genuine desire to learn about it.
- Outstanding organisational, multi‑tasking and time‑management skills.
- Strong attention to detail – excellent spelling, grammar and proof‑reading.
- High motivation and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Strong news sense and knack for storytelling.
- Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation.
- Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and media.
- Willing to communicate with memes.
- Experience with communication platforms: Telegram, Slack, X (formerly Twitter) and Discord.
- Prioritisation of applicants fluent in German and/or French.
