A regional law firm is seeking a proactive Paralegal to support its public law-focused team. This role involves managing case files, assisting with billing, and supporting senior lawyers. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of legal support experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Paralegal or similar legal support role.
  • Comfortable working unsupervised on administrative aspects of files.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate file management, records, and case management systems.
  • Managing diaries, correspondence, and document handling.
  • Supporting billing processes and basic financial administration.
  • Assisting with initial enquiries and screening new matters.
  • Providing cover and support during periods of absence within the team.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Well organised
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
