Qualifications

PTHP Plumbing Technician Facilitator Salary £12.21 per hour + £1.84 per hour holiday pay 18.5hrs Temporary until 27 March 2026 or the return of the postholder whichever is soonest

The Role

The role is to facilitate teaching support to enable effective delivery of the Construction curriculum within the building services area. You will be expected to provide day-to-day co‑ordination of the workshop, technical and teaching facilities by working with the team of staff to ensure effective support is provided to both staff and students. Co‑ordinate resource usage efficiently in order to deliver the curriculum. You will also be responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining resources within the area and will take an active part in the development of curriculum delivery through the annual business planning process.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who possesses a NVQ Level 2 or above (or equivalent) in plumbing and extensive practical experience of working in the Plumbing industries.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you'll have the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population. Experience of working with learners in an instructional context would be an advantage.
